News: Michael Bublé Announces 21 More Tour Dates

My favorite crooner Michael Bublé is the hottest ticket this summer. The singer is expected to fill arenas for his "Crazy Love" summer tour in a stark contrast to the grim concert season, which is reportedly low on ticket sales for many hot acts. Following a series of sellout European shows, the Grammy winner has returned to the US beginning today, June 22 in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the second leg of his "Crazy Love" tour which will play 21 markets ending August 28 in Las Vegas. The tour is expected to be a complete sell-out.

"In the current climate of summer tours, Michael Bublé is a shining star," stated the national tour promoter, Don Fox of Beaver Productions. "With Michael's following including such a wide demographic span along with the amazing reviews of this show around the world, this is surely going to become one of the biggest tours in the US this summer, " he concluded. I am going to agree with Mr. Fox that Mr. Bublé is a shining star. I like to blast his record and sweep the floor of my house while singing.

Tickets for Bublé's tour in three Texas markets of Dallas, Houston and San Antonio sold out in 30 minutes. The first leg of the tour which began March 12 of this year was also a total sell out and was seen by a quarter of a million Michael Bublé fans. Three new dates have been added to the tour including Sacramento on August 24, San Diego on August 27 and the closing show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Someone get me a plane ticket.

Have you been beseeched by Bublé yet? If not, what are you waiting for?

Michael Buble Defends Britney Spears' Lip-Syncing

Michael Buble Defends Britney Spears' Lip-SyncingCanadian crooner Michael Buble has defended Britney Spears over her lip-synced shows - slamming Australian journalists for their harsh criticism of the star.

Spears has come under fire since she took her Circus tour Down Under, with many media outlets blasting her decision not to sing live. The pop star was subsequently forced to dismiss rumors of a mass walkout at her gig in Perth earlier this month when the press reported hordes of fans had left in disgust after they realized she was lip-syncing.

However now Buble has come out in defense of the Toxic hit-maker, insisting her fans can choose whether to see her gigs or not.

He says, "You'd think she killed someone. As an artist, and a human being, some of what has been written about her is so nasty. OK, she lip-syncs her show, people know that, they make the decision if they want to go and see her do that."

Michael Buble Gave Kid A Rude Gift

Michael BubleSinger Michael Buble once helped wean a little girl off teddy bears - by inadvertently giving her a vulgar toy. The hitmaker was given a teddy bear after a concert, but didn't realize it was a rude toy until he passed it on to his tour manager's young daughter.

He explains, "She squeezed the bear and it said, 'I want to beep you!' She said, 'Daddy, I don't want anymore teddy bears.' I think I traumatized the poor kid."
